Just in Time for Mother’s Day….

DreamCatcher Collective in association with DreamCatcher Productions present Jacquay Waller’s “Tears of A Rose”; a piece that explores the concept of giving loved ones their flowers while they’re living, as opposed to waiting until they’re “gone”. This play uses the lens of motherhood to address the concerns of delayed expressions of gratitude, appreciation, and love for those who have significantly impacted our lives. Tears hopes to inspire its viewers to examine their own lives in order to express these emotions to a parent, sibling, relative, or friend. Some of the scenarios include: a woman who questions her motherhood when losing her child; a mother who adopts a child; a man who misses his mother’s funeral while incarcerated; and a mother who treats her son like the ‘man of the house’.

You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, and you’ll want to give your loved ones hugs and kisses after embarking on this DreamCatcher EXPERIENCE!

And course, at the end of the show, you’ll be able to dialogue with the Characters. Not the Actors!

Black Knight is a Documentary on Black Fathers. It explores fathers who are present in their children’s lives. Is this an oxymoron? The media would have you believe so. There are actually fathers out here who are actively present in their kids’ lives. This documentary is unbelievable.
